On February 10, the 2022 Annual Meeting of the Shandong Low Carbon Measurement Technical Committee and the "Science and Technology Innovation China" Enterprise Implementation of the Dual Carbon Strategy High-end Forum were held in Tai'an.

The meeting was hosted by Jinan Metrology Verification and Testing Institute, Tai'an Science and Technology Association, Jinan Metrology and Testing Society, co-organized by Taishan District Science and Technology Association, and undertaken by Taishan Group Taian Taishan High Voltage Switch Co., Ltd. More than 60 people, including members of Shandong Low Carbon Measurement Technical Committee and representatives of key enterprises in Taishan District, attended the meeting.

Yu Xiaoyan, deputy director of the Metrology Division of Shandong Provincial Market Supervision Administration, was invited to attend the meeting and delivered a speech. Chen Pei, president of Jinan Metrology Verification and Testing Institute and chairman of Shandong Low Carbon Metrology Technical Committee, attended the meeting. Liu Yukao, member of the Party Leadership Group and second-level researcher of Tai'an Association for Science and Technology, and Liu Min, deputy director of Tai'an Market Supervision Administration, delivered speeches respectively. Cao Lei, director of Taishan District Science and Technology Bureau, presided over the opening ceremony.

Liu Yukao pointed out in his speech that since Tai'an was approved as the first batch of "Science and Technology Innovation China" pilot projects in 2020, it has established close cooperation with 103 national (provincial) societies, implemented 101 innovation platforms, and held more than 40 national high-end academic conferences in Tai'an. It has introduced more than 1,000 high-level talents, including 42 academicians, to Tai'an for guidance, helping to solve more than 300 technical problems, and unblocking channels for communication and interaction in scientific research, production and technology promotion. "Science and Technology Innovation China" is increasingly becoming an important engine and golden signboard for the city's high-quality development. 2023 is a key year for promoting green, low-carbon and high-quality development. The city has taken the creation of the "National Green, Low-carbon and High-quality Development Pilot Zone" as a starting point, insisted on promoting the green and low-carbon economic and social development, and accelerated the digitalization of industries and the intelligent transformation of enterprises. This forum is a concrete action to implement the "dual carbon" strategy, which is very consistent with the actual high-quality development of Tai'an. It is hoped that the participating entrepreneurs and experts will have in-depth docking and exchanges, establish a stable cooperative relationship, and jointly promote the construction of Tai'an's "Science and Technology Innovation China" pilot city and promote Tai'an's high-quality development.

After the opening ceremony, relevant experts and professors gave wonderful reports on the topics of "Smart Energy Storage and Major Opportunities under the Background of Dual Carbon" and "Exchange and Sharing of Product Carbon Footprint". Participants had in-depth exchanges on optimizing and adjusting the energy structure, reducing carbon dioxide emissions, and advocating green and low-carbon production methods, and visited the dual-carbon culture construction of Tai'an Taishan High Voltage Switch Co., Ltd.

 At the forum, relevant enterprises in Tai'an City signed a technical cooperation agreement with Russian academicians and unveiled the "Russian Academician Expert Station".
